Customer orientated marketing – web marketing and concepts

Traditional Concept: Traditionally marketing begins after the goods are produced and comes to an end with their sale. This view of competition, consumer awareness, and dynamic environment is all one way traffic, i.e. transfer of goods from producers to consumer, thus the traditional approach emphasizes merely the physical process of distributing goods and services. Its focus is on the product rather than on the satisfaction of customers.

Customer Orientated Marketing

The different concepts and features of marketing are customer orientation where all business activities should be oriented towards the recognition and satisfaction of customers’ needs and wants. Marketing research is another feature with which the enterprise tries to understand and satisfy the needs of customers and the relevant information that is collected about the markets in order to understand the current trends in the market. An ongoing program of marketing research is very necessary for every business organization. Lastly comes marketing planning and control which is a dynamic process. It begins much more before production and continues after sale.
