When you’re designing an email, it’s easy to think about the bigger picture, such as what the main image should be, how the typography should be and how many colours you want to include in the template. The copy is often forgotten during the design process and this can be a bit of an issue for some businesses. A great design is nothing without purposeful words that actually mean something. You can’t engage with your audience using images, alone, you can only grab their attention this way. Then once you’ve got their attention with your stunning visuals, your words will take over, giving them the information they need to make a purchasing decision. To engage with real customers, you truly have to find the right balance between exceptional design and copywriting. Make sure you balance both when you start planning your next campaign.
